We decided to introduce a new version of Multiface® in cans beside Multiface 1.5 in double cartridges as some of our customers are requesting. The pot life has been adapted to have enough time for manual mixing and applying on wide surfaces in direct sunlight in very hot regions. Despite the long pot life (40 minutes), the belt is ready for use in approximately 3 hours at +23°C/73°F or 1.5 hours at +40°C/104°F, but also at temperatures below 0°C/32°F, when using a heat gun.

Multiface® generally achieves very good adhesion to rubber without the need for any preparation involving solvents or adhesion promoters due to the same chemical cross-linking as in hot vulcanisation. Therefore, the job can be carried out in almost all weather conditions, including direct sunlight, below the dew point, and in drizzle or snowfall. The product contains no solvents, VOCs, CMRs or toxic ingredients. This ensures an exceptionally high level of safety for people, storage and transport (even airfreight).
